Not recognizing 2 controllers?

How in the world a game made in 2025 can't recognise 2 independent controllers?! If you alt-tab both controllers control a single player. Comon man!

It should recognize them. Which mode are you playing in? If you're playing local co-op, change the input mode to gamepad-gamepad

Using 2 xbox one wireless controllers. Input mode is gamepad-gamepad. Not recognizing the second player/gamepad.

Not recognizing the second controller either. Xbox and PS4 controller

Playing with two controllers does not work for us. The glass constantly rotates to the max so we can not carry it horizontally. So we refunded the game because it is completely unplayable in this state.
