'HOUND DOG' SECRET GAME BONUS MISSION???

I could only find two extra 'Change Campaign Variable' events that unlock hidden missions. Bounty Hunter can be unlocked by the grabbing notebook in the truck at CPBravo in Common Resolve: Counter Punch.
Four Horsemen can be unlocked by bringing the laptop to the extraction point in Global Enforcement: Broken Wing.
Meanwhile, Hound Dog (part of Op. Common Resolve) mission remains inaccessible.
Anyone found a way to play Hound Dog mission??

It seems that mission can't be unlocked by normal way. So I used the UltraEdit to modify the save file and unlock it.

Well, first you need a software named UltraEdit. Then use it to open the game's save file (e.g. df2plyrs.sav). The campaign missions which you completed were begin at 00000030h. Like this:

00000030h: 01 00 00 00 01 00 00 00 01 00 00 00 01 00 00 00

So if a line is: 01 00 00 00 00 00 00 00

Then you just need change the fifth 00 to 01.

I'm having the same issue. I have unlocked and completed 'Bounty Hunter' and 'Four Horsemen' but can't find 'Hound Dog'.

You said above that using UltraEdit on the save file worked.... which line did you change to unlock it?

Any help from yourself or anyone else on how to unlock this would be much appreciated.

yes it works! its easy...
you have first to download UltraEdit and then open the save file (df2plyrs.sav).
i dont't remember exactly, but when you are inside this file, you have to look some of the firsts 10 lines...
when you find a line with this parameter: 01 00 00 00 00 00 00 00
Just change the fifth 00 to 01
so the line must be like this: 01 00 00 00 01 00 00 00 00 00 00 00......
then restart the game and you will see hound dog mission unlocked in your campaign!

I could not get this to work. Changed every value at line 00000030h to 01, but still no luck.
Where in the map is the mission supposed to show up?

I couldn't get it to work either, which is a shame as it's the only mission I haven't played.

you can play the mission by hosting a coop multiplayer game and finding the mission in the menu

I checked the strategy guide for the game (it is pdf file in game folder), hound dog isn't a secret mission, it must be a bug and thats why you can't find way to make it active.

In mission Air Mail,you can grab a codebook in the first house on the table.
Codebook is also in one of the tents at second SCUD base in mission Houd dog.
In mission Sudden Impact,you can grab notebook and codebook next to the radio.

Also,make the ULTRA EDIT guide more precice. When you are inside this file, you have edit ALL 8 lines starting with 01.If any problems,msg me.
PS:If anyone finds out,what are those codebooks/notebooks good for,msg me :-)
