Guide for running DF on windows 11 in 2025
I have ALL the delta force games working correctly on the latest windows 11 update.

I can't remember where I found it but I found a guide for one of the DF games to get it working on windows 11 and higher resolutions

This is a simple guide I made that I will post on all the Delta Force games groups for people to find. This worked for me on most up to date windows 11 using a ryzen 7 5800x and an amd 7900xt

https://github.com/dege-diosg/dgVoodoo2/releases

1. Download the latest github release of dgVoodoo2

2. extract it anywhere and run dgVoodooCpl.exe

3. then click Add and navigate to whichever Delta Force game install folder you want add.
Example C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Delta Force 2
(You can add all of them but the directX settings MUST be saved per game)

4. Select which game you want to edit in the drop down menu, then click DirectX tab

5. change the following settings on the DIrectX tab

5.1 un-check Application controlled fullscreen/windowed state
5.2 un-check disable alt+enter to toggle screen state
5.3 un-check dgVoodoo Watermark
5.4 check Force vsync
5.5 check Fast Video Memory Access
5.6 change Antialiasing (MSAA) drop down menu to 2x
5.7 change the filtering drop down menu to Force anisotropic 16x
5.8 change the resolution drop down menu to whatever your native monitor you will be playing on
5.9 change the VRAM drop down menu to anything over 1024MB (I set mine to the max 4gb but I have a GPU that can use it as I have an AMD 7900XT)

6. Click apply and close the program

congratz your DF games should be launching and working just fine now

Ashame about the title bar being visible at the top of the screen that obscures part of the bar and the info contained on it.

Hi there, i hope somebody can help me. I just tried everything, this method too, the game is running but in full screen mode the colors are gone and the game looks like this:
https://tinypic.host/image/df1.3D9HTm
https://tinypic.host/image/df1-2.3D9MRv
In windowed mode the colors are fine but it is too small to enjoy the game.

Just wanted to report that I am also having the exact same problem. The game was running just fine a few days ago until I had a Windows 11 update and updated my Nvidia drivers. I can rollback the Nvidia drivers, but I don't think I can do anything about the Windows update.

Did you find a fix?

I posted on r/DeltaForce and someone there was kind enough to post a solution:

HERES THE FIX:

Unzip these files inside your DF1 folder: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1Pr7_RQY-MO2H7zt5FD2-ydnk9FCfddsU/view?usp=sharing
Here's a 1min video tutorial: https://youtu.be/6BzHqtrwdRw

These files are from the DirectX wrapper called dgvoodoo.
Works for DF1, DF2, DFLW and DFTFD.

This fix worked for me and was super easy!
