Can't play in Windows10

Verify that the size of the text is 100%. When I installed windows 10, the size of the text was 150%. Since I reduce It to 100%, that game and the game Sinister City load again.

I had this problem, but all i did to fix it was go to the games steam directory folder and right click on the "AlchemyMysteries_PragueLegends.exe" go to properties, then compatibility, and then check the "disable display scaling on high DPi settings" box. dont forget to apply, and the game works for me now!

I had the same problem with my Windows 10 laptop but I fixed the problem by doing the previous suggestion i.e over-riding the high DPI scale

Have tried the solutions above, still not working. Glad to have wasted however much money this game cost. This is one of those times i wish you could return steam games

I thought you could if you can't play it! Have you tried clicking on 'Support'?

I went to the Steam folder and right clicked on "AlchemyMysteries_PragueLegends.exe", then went to Properties, then Compability and enabled suppot for Windows 8, I also activated the lockers: Run with a screen resolution of 640x480, Disable full screen optimizations and Run this program as administrator. Then Apply and 0 problems.

I started this game on Win 8.1 and am now continuing it on Win 10 with now issues on either.

This solution was the one that worked for me. However, I enabled Windows XP (service pack 3). Just to be sure, as the game recommendations state XP as the OS to use. But graphics certainly seem to be the big trigger. As I had tried compatibility mode in every Windows OS possible, before combining it with the suggested screen resolution.
I could run the game without any issues at all on Linux Ubuntu though. Had a much better resolution too.
It's 2023 and the developer still hasn't patched this problem? SMH!
