Black screen with floaties?

what does that mean? it keeps popping up when i try to do anything and gets getting really annoying? Im trying to get the coin from the pig and the screen goes black when i get near it with the rock?

Exit the game, exit Steam and then go back into Steam and resume your game. I have had to do this twice so far, Found this resolution on a google search. Good luck!

Not sure if we're having the same problem, but sometimes my screen goes black and what looks like stars/white dots appear (at first I thought it was intentional, then realized it was a bug). I go to the map, choose another location, and everything's fine after that.

yeah.. that was what i was doing... but it would start coming back more and more frequently... either way i finished the game...

I had the same problem, but I have solved it by leaving the game only to the game menu.. Happened to me only like 2 or 3 times during the whole game.

It happens to me when I try to assemble a magic seal and is super annoying. :-/
Opening and closing map/journal helps, i.e. brings back the picture. But the screen goes black again when I'm moving the pieces...

i had this happen when i wlaked outside of the house, after the loading screen once. but when i brought up my journal, then put it down again, everything returned to normal again, and i didnt have to restart...

Yep. It happened to me with mini game (scarecrow). When I touched the subject and move, the screen become black... Argh, it is very furious. Restart is helpful, but still unpleasant. Why developers don't want to fix it?

i have that problem to. When i solve a puzzle - fix the glasses but screen goin black with some white points

if turn off the Steam overlay - it work correctly

Had this problem as well. Going to the mainmenu and back to the game again helped. Thanks a lot :)
