Game does not start.

I get nothing... no graphics just doesnt start. No errors are shown. Re-install doesnt help.

Hi,
I just started this game and worked fine however I am using an older pc with Vista 64 sp2 so games who's system requirements that are win xp should work. I'm going to take a guess that some games that run on this may or may not work with Win 10. I haven't had a chance to try as I won't have that OS till I replace this pc.

So have you tried changing the compatitity mode? Try checking off Run this program in compatibilty mode for:
then change to Windows XP.

I'll assume you know how to find the game folder by going to the Steam folder?

If someone isn't sure how to do that I can post where to find it. Just let me know.

I honestly found a post somewhere that had you go change from full screen to windowed manually and it launched fine.

Another possible solution for Windows 10 is to override the DPI scaling. It's under compatibility settings and it's worked perfectly for me.

running windows 10 here too, had the same issue , had to uninstall the game, disk clean up after, go to control panel and find device manager and check for driver update for your processor and graphics or graphics card , mine is a 2 in 1 deal but if u r running a desktop the 2 will be separate, re-install the game after any updates , i also turned off firewall and virus protection cuz sometimes that will mess up an install of some programs. this game does have a few glitches that the company needs to fix but overall it now runs good on 10 except the screen goes black and looks like stars floating in the air after u get our of the antique shop but once i closed the game out the graphics were fixed but still no sound so if u run into that issue please let me know cuz im not sure what that is all about yet , hope this helps u get things up and running

STEP 1:
in "Steam" go to "Library" right click "Alchemy Mysteries" in the list of games, next choose "properties" In the window that pops up click the "Local Files" tab, next click "Browse Local Files" navigate to "AlchemyMysteries_PragueLegends.exe" (note: do not go to "AlchemyMysteries_PragueLegends.exe.manifest") right click it and choose "properties" in the window that pops up choose the tab "compatibility"

(Steam>Library>AlchemyMysteries>R-click>properties>LocalFiles>BrowseLocalFiles> AlchemyMysteries.exe>R-click>properties>compatibility)

STEP 2:
next check the box that says "Run this program in compatability mode" and choose "Vista (Service pack 2)" then find the box that says "disable display scaling on high dpi settings" if it is checked, Uncheck it... If it is not, then Check it. finaly click "apply" and launch the game.
