Is there a world map?

I find the compass confusing for quest waypoints. Is there a world map view? I can't find it.

In game... Nope. No idea what the future will hold, but for now there is no world map, and there are city scroll maps that show generally what the city looks like, but they do not update with your current location. Just like real world paper maps.

The best place to find a world map would be in game. But the developers aren't focused on game play. Just the cash shop. Actually I may have just gave them an idea to put a world map in the cash shop lol.

It would be nice to have a charting skill that lets you automap some how when you are using the skills passively.

That was one of my favorite hobbies in EQ when they implemented drawing your own maps. Fire up the bard, make my own maps, share, etc.

They did mention (and I can't remember WHEN they mentioned, or when they thought about implementing) or at least I could swear they mentioned, that cartography was going to be added at some point. If that makes enchanted town scroll maps, where it shows your current location, thus works like all other games with a map, or can make a full area world map, or a map of sections of the world in their own scrolls, that part I don't remember.
