Should i start a new character?

been away for a while and really don't remember anything. never really made it very far before. Would i be losing anything by deleting my character and starting a new one?

I would be worried about items you might have claimed you might not get back

One character can learn every skill in the game, so you could always pick a new wepon or magic school and go into a tier one area to re learn how to fight.

Storyline wise it's probably not a bad idea? I barely participated in early access waiting for what they considered their true release (completed story and more acceptable level of development).

Check your characters inventory, my understanding is that account items and bank items remain when you delete your character, at least that is what the message implied when I deleted my pre-release character to start again.

id like to know this as well. i have a bit in the bank and would hate to lose it all. but my char needs a change.

Deleting your character doesn't delete what's in your bank.

Backers that had the reward for multiple characters now have them as of this morning. The assumption is you will be able to pay for more slots if you aren't an early backer, but I don't know if that's available yet or not.

Not counting offline, you can make one (or more?) on that right now.

the one i got was like the $40 option i think, which one was required for multiple characters? (still downloading the update)

It was an expired early backer reward I believe. I'm sure you don't have it at $40 unless that is a long ago pledge, and even then I don't know if the $40 level had them.

I would guess you will be able to get it for a lot less in the store than having backed.
