Hit K, to open up your skills. Down at the bottom, in Tactics, is Train Strength. Turn the green arrow up so you are raising it.
The first bank is in Soltown or any other town you decide to go to.
You should sell everything to NPCs but raw materials, and Bloody Bones skull if you lucked out and got that, though. All the other trash just turn into gold.
Good luck!
Restarted the game, was able to turn in a bunch of Quests and make 1K Gold :)))
Not sure where Soltown is but I'll try to get there asap in order to bank all the mats I've been hoarding lol. I assume the Bank is shared across all towns, right?
Thanks a bunch for all the help m8, feels like I started to progress again ^.^
EDIT: Just saw the server went offline...
That's very unusual. It happened earlier this week due to a huge storm, but we've had almost 100% uptime in the previous 5 years. Hopefully they figure out a way to make sure the weather doesn't keep doing this.
And I'm glad I could help. Yes, banks are global now. Back in the day they weren't, but the devs have slowly started letting more modern, "user friendly" quality of life take precedence over 100% realism.
Here's a video that explains your XP pool. The reason you want to turn of training sometimes is because as you drain the pool, it makes it so everything levels incredibly slowly. So the usual method is to build up a big pool and only level a skill or two at a time.
Glad Banks are shared, cuz else it's a real pain. I remember the good ole times of UO... ;oP Glad that they made the jump to the 21st century for Banks :)
XP does feel like a more complex varient of how UO used to work. Kinda like the idea (so far lol).
Now I've been looking everywhere, while clearing Quests and collecting even more mats, for Soltown but can't find how to get there, even google isn't helping much heh -.-
EDIT: Found it! ^.^
Now I'm wondering if we're supposed to loose Pooled XP overnight? Because I had over 150K Polled last night shortly before logging off and I'm down to 70K or so this afternoon... o.O
No, more likely you have a lot of skills turned on now and your pool is draining quickly. Innate skills (strength for example) take 4x the XP and will really pull down your pool quickly. Now it's time to start keeping a closer eye on it.
Welcome! Don't forget to get your Deed when you complete one of the Outskirts. You get it from the main quest giver (Captain Kinsey if you do Solace Bridge first). Then you can claim land in one of the many player owned towns!
When I logged back in I had under 80K pooled XP left... o.O So around 80K XP just vanished over night for no reason. Question is, are we supposed to lose pooled XP while we're offline?
When I logged back in I fought a few hrs in Soltown catacombs and unlocked a few more skills. XP dropped to around 40K, cuz I was lvling a bunch of new skills. should I expect to still have around 40K XP when I log back in or will I have lost a bunch of XP over night once again? I mean, is loosing XP overnight a game mechanic or a bug?
EDIT: Logged back in to 36K pooled XP.
Deed? I think I still have 1 Quest left in the Outkirst of the bridge, but I think I finished the Bridge itself. How does one get that Deed? Do I need to ask for it?
EDIT: Went back to Kinsey and had to manually type "Deed" to get it.
I thought it was 1 pool for everything. My XP pool is slightly over 200K atm, and my Adventuring pool at around 30K. This is most likely where the confusion with XP "vanishing" overnight came from -.-
I'm glad you figured it out. I didn't think of that.
