OK, hope this one is all good. I haven't had a chance to test the A/Y ship switching as I've left my controller at home :(
This time I've added a compatibility mode.
A small amount of users have experienced "Nw.exe has stopped working"
This should fix that problem, however this mode does not support Steam achievements a this time.
1. When a player completes a wave there is a delay from the instant the wave is completed to when the enemies and bullets are destroyed. This means the player can technically complete the level but be hit by a stray bullet/enemy before the level is cleared of hazards (this has happened to me a few times). Is there a way to make the wave completion and elimination of all hazards instantaneous to avoid this, or is this by design?
2. I ran into a bug where I choose a track on repeat and went into the second boss battle of the game. The music stopped and never returned until I got a Game Over. I'm trying to repeat the bug but so far I haven't had success replicating it. I don't know if specifically setting the music to repeat caused it or if it the symptoms of other actions.
3. In one playthrough of the game I was getting random x2, x3, and x5 multipliers without collecting the corresponding powerup.
Gameplay Questions
4. Is using a bomb the only way to save your combo? Is it possible to make banking a combo a separate action? I get the Risk Vs. Reward of tying the two together and keeping the player from banking points until after the bomb is active is perfectly fine, the ability to bank after that point without wasting a bomb would be nice.
I have some other gameplay questions but I want to get through more of the game to make sure I just don't suck at the game.
