So yeah. Not quite sure why it isn't working optimally. Works kinda better on 'slow' camera -- buts its still jerky... or maybe a better way to put is like anti-aliasing isn't a feature and I'm seeing every frame when i move the camera. :)
Try this:
In the game's folder (SteamApps\common\Safecracker 2) there's two ini-files:
config.ini and STEAM_config.ini
Open these files and change the value of "bFullScreen" to 0.

Of course, mouse does not appear outside window, so cannot resize (yet), but i can work with (around) that. Thanks for pointing me in the right direction!
and i realy want to know why there is no option to change resolution. The window size is 1041x807 and it feels like playing on a tablet...
* The intro video flickers and freezes for a few seconds at a time. Playing in windowed mode fixed the flickering but not the freezing.
* Some menu items are missing text. I mostly see this on the Save, Load, and Exit confirmation windows.
* The game lags; it takes about a half second after I move the mouse for the game to react. Playing in windowed mode improves this.
* When I pull up the inventory and try to click on an object to look at it, moving the mouse at all causes the whole inventory to flicker and disappear. I hope that I don't have to flip over the photograph that I found or anything like that, because as it stands I can't.
* Moving the mouse around in windowed mode sometimes triggers some of the Windows 7 UI elements. For example, I keep hovering over the "Show Desktop" button in the lower right of the screen and causing the game window to disappear, even though the game supposedly has the mouse focus.
I like the puzzles that I've seen so far and I want to keep playing this game, but currently it is barely playable. Good thing that I only spent $1.24 on it.
