I feel ... confused
A couple of days ago I plugged my computer into the printer to, what else, print some papers. However, what printed first was the Will and Testament of Duncan Walter Adams. I was baffled, not to mentioned creeped out. So I went to Google to find out what the hell this was. Did I find a ghost in the machine? But guess where Google took me... to a walkthrough for this game. I had completely forgotten that I played this game a few weeks ago and have one question that will remain unanswered: How did my computer remember to print this page after numerous shutdowns?

The printer's queue will hold the printed documents until it'll be printed out for real.

I know... but damn. I didn't realize something would stay in the queue even after a shutdown.

I guess the question is was the last time you plugged your printer in the same time you were playing this game?

Nope, I hadn't touched the game in a couple of weeks. I guess the print queue is stored on a more permanent part of my computer's memory... I guess I'm still not used to windows 7, lol.

nice
Depending on your printer, it not only has its own memory but can hold a printqueue for a very long time. Perhaps something in your computer finally triggered it to continue a paused printjob or something.

Very true. Still kinda wish it was a ghost in the machine... I love a good story.

That's funny, that just happened to me a few minutes ago. I had something to print, and the will of Duncan W. Adams came first. That's an amusing surprise anyways, I wasn't expecting to see that at all. ;)

Print Spooler (qued print jobs) kept in your windows directory until it gets emptied (by printing out jobs or requesting "Cancel Print Job" from printer status window.
Short version - it's a file on your hard drive.
