[BUG] Can't go windowed from fullscreen
In short, when I launch the game and try to turn off Fullscreen, the game instead "kind of" goes into a windowed mode (aka shows the title bar with the minize, maximize and close buttons) but its only like the top left corner of my screen and half the game is cut off.
I'm using CachyOS with Proton-GE 9-27. Same issue in Freezeria as well.

Extra Info: The game is actually still fullscreen then. I may not be able to see majority of the game menu, but I can still click on the spots where buttons are supposed to be to use them (e.g. I managed to close the game by clicking the "hidden" red X button in the top right corner without seeing it, but it was in the correct position at least). Since the game is still technically full screen, I can't actually grab the title bar of the game to move the window. I'll try to Alt+Enter maybe, perhaps that will work.

Okay, more Info!! The "window's" size depends on what do I choose at the Window Size option. The larger the Window Size is (Jumbo Widescreen), the larger the "window" is and the more I can see, but I still can't move the "window" around. Alt + Enter helped maybe at the very end for a very short time but then the game completely froze, requiring me to Stop the game from Steam itself. Perhaps it might be something to do with Proton not enjoying the game's engine(?) (If I remember correctly, should be some version of Flash, right?)
Checked steamdb for the engine used, I guess it's the Adobe Air Engine, maybe Valve can do something to fix Proton's compatibility with it, idk ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Probably an issue with Proton not handling windowed modes well with the game (my only experience with Proton is on Steam Deck, which seems to always force it into fullscreen). It should be telling the game when the window size changes so it can fit to the window, but maybe Proton isn't sending that new info (or it's reporting the full monitor width/height instead of the window's width/height for some reason).

The only suggestion I could make would be to edit the game's "application.xml" file (in the Troubleshooting topic there's an explanation of how to find this file locally) -- there's a "Window Management" section of settings in that xml file, where there's a "resizable" option.

If you set that to "true", in theory you're able to then drag the edges of the window to resize it to whatever size you like. Maybe that will force it to send the correct dimensions for the game to resize itself?

will try that out, and thanks for the reply.

yup, that worked. Maybe Valve is able to fix that behaviour. The game started in fullscreen, but I turned off Fullscreen in the settings, and it went into normal resizable window.
