The solution I can think of is UV to mesh, and apply the material you have paint before.

UV to mesh is a Modo Indie feature, I don't know if other package offer this function too.

Unfortunately I tried baked lightning in substance painter. It's flat out terrible and hate to say it but a poor excuse to just simply having a feature that allows what you see in 2d viewport to be exportable.
But it's unfortunate that bitmap doesnt have something as a workaround for my issue. I use blender and I don't have any idea on how to set it up so I could export everything into one texture been looking everywhere for some video on it.
