Male voice for ghost please?

I was disappointed to hear a female voice for the femboy ghost instead of a more feminine sounding male voice. I really feel that would fit better. At least, I would prefer it. Maybe as an option to change in the menu?

it would probably cost a lot for softboi dev to hire an additional voice actor and pay them for voicing Quinn's lines for the full game..

maybe dev could convince a desperate femboy to voice the lines for less heheh..

Whatever Softboi is willing to do to make it happen, then I'm all for it! I would understand if it costs too much for him, but I would be very disappointed if he couldn't do it.

I find that any guy that tries to really put on a femboy persona and tries to sound feminine pretty much sounds cute enough. And the fact that you trained your voice in the past, and even being a part of a band (!), is really cool and promising! I have no doubt that you would make a great Quinn. Damn, I really hope Nuteku gets you to do the voice! XD More femboys need to get voice acting roles!

haha, well... that is assuming softboi dev has similar thoughts, there is no comment from them on this yet. they might think that the current voice is perfectly fine and there is no need to change it.. i would be ashamed to assume thats the case if its not so, i would not want to insult their efforts or the current Quinn voice actor's work : (

the thought is very tempting though and i'm not afraid to embarrass myself by asking...

however there is evidence that Nuteku reads through these topics and there have been multiple people asking for a more male sounding Quinn. i don't want to annoy them with yet another topic criticizing their demo while also asking to insert myself into their work.. it seems highly improper and overly bold to me.. i would definitely not feel good about it. even this discussion alone feels too much (as an artist myself, if i saw people talking among each other in comments discussing my work and how to improve it, it would most likely annoy me more than anything and i rather like this dev and their work..)

it also seems egotistical to sit here and expect them to reach out to me.. uhhh... i really don't know how to approach this. i'm hoping that enough has been said already because i really hate to think that i'm insulting a creator that i like ,_,

That's a good point about the original Quinn voice actor. She does do a fantastic job. I wouldn't feel too bad about criticizing someone's work. A part of what makes a good artist is taking serious, constructive criticism. Of course, we don't want to be rude or mean. We want the artist to know that our thoughts and ideas are coming from a good place, and that we love their work and want it to be the best it can be. I'll leave it up to you, but as long as you couch your ideas and recommendations in compliments, and you let them know that they've done a great job, then you'd probably be fine.

not gonna lie, i'm already practicing just for the fun of it lol. i don't get many excuses to use 'the voice' these days.

but i really don't have any experience to show and it seems hard to imagine getting picked for this project (this demo is very nice quality in my opinion.. how can someone who put this much effort into something pick a random gamer to contribute?)
it is a nice thought.. but who am i to say what would be better?

making a game is no easy task, without doubt Nuteku is highly intelligent and reading all these posts and comments since there are not that many as of yet (with constant replies to this topic bumping it up, im 99.99% sure they are reading this)

i cannot re-state something that obvious without feeling that i'm insulting their intelligence in doing so. perhaps once some time passes and if i record some lines to offer for consideration..

I did like your idea though, of recording some lines yourself. I believe a lot of voice actors got their start that way by just reading random things and making up voices and then sending it to people and companies.
