Did they change/remove the dash combo in Lunar 2?

So it used to be that if you equipped the Yellow pajamas, gorgon doll, and rubber boots it would give you an increased dash that would last a lot longer at the cost the character would be asleep in battle. I tried it while farming Chiro mongrels in the remastered it seems to no longer work.

This Remsster is based on original Japanese version, so the dash could be not implement in it.

Didnt even know this dash existed! Must be a late game thing?

Well it gets to the point if you're running high levels for the late game/epilogue that you don't need everyone in the party. So you'd slap this combo on someone and it would let you run for like 5x as long. It's really useful. It's probably one of the biggest negatives for me about the remaster. It made some of the late game slower.

Man, who knows, maybe they are reading this and decide to implement this into the game? I played the original without knowing that though haha yes I went through the whole epilogue without it. Yes the epilogue can be hellish. Maybe this was too obscure for them to know it existed? How do you find out that this combination exists in the game?
