LUNAR Remastered Collection

So, do you think we might get the so-called 'Quintet Trilogy' someday?
Soul Blazer, Illusion of Gaia and Terranigma. Although all of these three titles got relatively little attention compared to their contemporaries, many players would likely have fond memories of these nonetheless. Given all of the rereleases of classic JRPGs of late including LUNAR, I guess it's only a matter of time before SE decides to dust off the mothballs from these titles, right? At the very least, it's important to ensure titles of yesterday won't ever get forgotten.

I agree, but if I recall they are enix games. Brainlord, robotrek would be nicer. Enix has many unique snes games.

Robotrek could appeal to new kids and old nostalgia. Brainlord had cool brain teasers so it be nice.

Soul blazer was cool, but dont forget they have 7th saga to. That ne another awesome enix game. I think brandish as well, the dungeon game.
This is not the right place to ask, these companies had nothing to do with Quintet. Square-Enix did do an Actraiser remake (another game from Quintet) so I suppose it is possible.

A complete pack of their games wold be nice not just the main trilogy but the Actraisers, Robotrek/Slapstick and even Granstream Saga and that other PSOne game that never got localized

Nah Illusion of Gaia was a great game, but the US localization was pretty bad though, and yes isn't very intuitive, but I find easier to comeback to Illusion of Gaia than SoulBlazer.
It'd be cool if it did, for more exposure. It's a pretty fun and interesting unofficial trilogy; if more people get to experience them, all the better.
It's unlikely. As I understand it, the owner of Quintet disappeared over a decade ago, so the rights of those games are in a sort of legal limbo.

I'm unsure how Square managed to get the rights to release the recent ActRaiser remaster, though; that indicates that there might be some hope?

That Actraiser remake sure was ugly. It was good enough as it is. Soul Blazer needed it more. It felt less well made than Actraiser.

I hated the Actraiser remake, not only was it hideous, but I found the inserted tower defense elements ruined the flow of the simulation mode, it just felt obnoxious to play. Sometimes less is more.

Let's all wait and see, shall we?
