I don't know if it's censored, but clearly when people are talking/asking about censorship this day and age, it's about censorship done to meet the needs of the 'modern audience'. Basically folks who would never have bought it in the first place.

And yeah I'm curious if it's there. Call me a snowflake all you want, but being tolerant to woke is what resulted in various European countries now throwing people in prison for speaking their mind.

They actually fixed the bad and made up translations by Working Design.
You REALLY need to choose what you are complaining about.

Is it " oh no this game has not 100% accurate Japanese to English translation, its woke garbage!"
OR
" Oh no, this game does not use the completely wrong and madeup English translation from before and is closer to the Japanese original! Woke garbage!".

you have never had freedom of speech in most european countries..

the fact you think you do is a very american-centric mindset. literally no where else in the world do you have the supposed freedoms that you take for granted here

and the only "censorship" so far anyone has found in the game is they removed

So far it seem likes its pretty much the WD script with minor changes.
Just need to see if Ronfar's or Kyle's more suggestive lines have been altered.
That'll be the difference between buying it for $50 now or wait for a sale.

Most European countries did have free speech actually. You could say anything without getting punished. It wasn't until about 2 decades ago when they slowly started to implement free speech laws.

And really the US currently doesn't have free speech either. The dems were killing it, but the current head of the country is just doing it in a different way. It's insane that you can talk trash about the US as much as you want, but when you criticize a certain country in the middle-east for their horrible deeds, you risk getting kicked out.

Anyhow, I'm still waiting and seeing with this game to see if there's truly nothing. And if there isn't, I'll likely buy it the Switch version once the Switch 2's out (assuming it's compatible) just to support it. Still buying games "because it's only a few lines here and there" is what led to tons of modern games being completely ruined, so I'm done doing that and voting with my wallet.

OR any other obvious stuff besides script changes. People aren't far enough.

And many of the people here are desensitized to these types of edits. So to them it's no big deal.

The problem is, they kept the WD translation, but only cherry picked their edits.

This wouldn't be a problem if they did straight JP script. They didn't. That's the issue.
