Well, that's a lie if I ever saw one. Only "new" ps1 games that were new and 5$ were the ones that were illegally burned on a CD and sold for modified PS1s owners.

Two games, both of which have been remastered in HD, and a more faithful translation which removes a bunch of silly 90s References.

Fortunately, if you already own the originals on PS1 and have no interest in any of the improvements, then you can still play them on Steam anyway!

Anyway, if you wanted to buy the originals they're quite steep in price. 25$ each, 50$ total seems fine, especially if you want them physical. It'll eventually go down in price, probably, like the FF collection.

I call ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ unless it was in 1999 or something, because these two games sell for $120-$200 and have been over $50 since 2013 at LEAST. You may have gotten lucky, but this is the cheapest and easiest way to play these games LEGALLY in 2025.

It's people like you we now have 90-100$ games, I bought this remaster and since refunded it casue there's nothing in it to justify the price it's just a AI upscale with new dub and nothing else.

10$, it's honestly not better in some cases it's even worse so it probably was done on the cheap, the OG games have a pretty decent dubbing, so it's unclear why they created new dub other then to edit the script of the game well that and to avoid paying roalyties to the og cast.
