More games should do what LUNAR Remastered did...
Offer a remastered version side by side with the classic experience. Provided the options and new quality of life features while respecting the classic. From everything I've seen so far I'm really impressed with the job they've done!

We haven't seen much but I wish they included the original sega CD games with it too.

The remasters of the old LucasArts games did it too. Full Throttle, Monkey Island 1-3, and Grim Fandango for sure, and I want to say Day of the Tentacle did too.

I am ( overall ) very happy.

Adjustable difficulty would have been the icing on the cake...

If they keep with the original Complete versions' programming, it shouldn't need it. While the enemies might be on the weaker side, the bosses are level scaling.

Sadly I can say from what I've seen of attempts to mod the game, the original programming is just such that attempting to do this causes a lot of different things to break, so it's a bit understandable why they just chose to go back to the original JPN difficulty.

I had such a horrible time with Fantasian ( after 30 hrs ) that is why I was pushing for difficulty options.

I guess it is what it is.

Git Good.
well, then it should be the original classic not the remastered classic.
I wish Grandia 1 had at least this much treatment in preserving the original look of the game.

Fair, the difficulty spike in part 2 of Fantasian was pretty infamous. Fortunately, these games don't have anything like that. My understanding is that Eternal Blue's a bit tougher if you're playing them both without the Working Designs difficulty spike Silver Star Story got, but I was able to get close to the end even as a kid. (Never did actually finish it, you know how it is with longer titles sometimes, but it wasn't because it was too tough.)

To mod Lunar?

The mobile game (which is a separate port of the PS1 game) actually gives the option to choose between the Japanese and WD difficulty, along with several other difficulty levers.

No thanks, let's choose a title not on steam yet. Brandish 1 and 2 package.
