If someone or some studio could be convinced to try and license the IP from Sony, then anything is possible but yeah… might be wishful thinking, unfortunately.
It's a SONY IP, Arc The Lad's return will only be possible the day they close the California division and the HQ returns to Japan. What Shawn Layden, Jim Cryan and Hermen Hulst have done is unforgivable.
Yes, this is the next series I'd like to see come back, along with the Lufia, Vandal Hearts and Breath of Fire series. (Different developers and publishers, I know, but they're games I'd like to see come back from whatever developer is willing to take them on. Preferably a quality developer.)
