Short on bones

Damn, I made it to the end, I need only 10 bones for the true ending and I have no idea where to find them. I have all the chests, killed everything, bought the expensive bone from the merchant, and I also got 5 bones from the map copy guy. I have checked the guides on the guide section and pretty much I have it all. Hopefully the bones are not bugged. I have not gotten the trophy for switching 50 times, not start the adventure.

If you're missing precisely 10, chances are you missed a lone chest somewhere. Remember that map completion doesn't automatically mark all chests in that room. I'd double-check and cross-reference your map with a guide (don't forget about the castles!).

I did, many times too. I looked at the other picture guides too. I have all chests, merchant and map guy bones. I will go stage by stage killing everything once again. If I can't figure it out then it might have been a bug in my gameplay. It is so annoying. I do not want to go over the whole thing again.

did you get the bones from the map maker guy? if not toss on the maxim upgrade to increase bone drops and it goes real fast

I'm in the exact same situation - exactly 10 bones short and I swear I have everything marked in the info guide

Could not find the last 10 bones after redoing the entire map. I think my game glitched somehow. I started things once again. It is so messed up.

My first clear I miss 4 bone in Chateau de la Fortune that red dragon place.

I was missing only 2 bones. Finally found them by getting them dropped by enemies in Chateau de la Fortune.

After the recent update, you now can see the bone count on the map. Give it a try,

That would have been helpful a week ago. I already got the true ending by doing another play through. It was easy the second time around because I knew what to do lmao.
I am glad they added this. The game has its faults but it is very enjoyable.

i didn't even know enemies dropped a Finite number of bones, missing so many of those bones for sure lol, basically dashing everywhere once i unlocked dash.
can't imagine it's a smart decision a true end relying on RNG drops.
now about those 100s of copies of sub weapons lol
