How the heck do you open the 3 doors to Verdant Forest???

I cannot for the life of me figure it out and the only full video guide for the game conveniently cuts the part where they find out how to open it

Either It's in a room I've already been to and just missed or it somewhere super secret because I've gone everywhere it could be and found nothing. I'd really appreciate just a solid answer where it is

There's a switch in the forest behind a platforming section with purple thorns.

Do you mean in the southwest, next to the save room full of mushrooms?
A bit northwest from there there's a very tall shaft lined with purple thorns. You probably saw it way earlier in the game. The lever for those gates is up there. You need either the super dash or an item from the Dead Sea.

Thats it,its in a room full of glowing vines. I had issues even jumping up there. I had to use a block of a vine to jump off of to get the switch.

That's what this damn switch does? I never figure out what it did since I probably opened it up early by hurting myself up the thorns. I've been wondering what the hell it did for so long xD

Yeah I'm completely lost. Someone told me to use the fire weapons on the thorns so I know its not the purple glowing throns.

Are you talking about accessing the Verdant Forest? Then like I said, there's a switch further up behind a platforming section that opens up the gate. When you get past the gate, you're going to need a fire weapon to proceed to Gardenas

The lever to open the gates is around that area, yes
