Sand area final boss needs an URGENT FIX
As of the current patch, the boss pattern seems to be dysfunctional, an exception should be made where the boss has to get rid of all stones before they can use the beam attack, or make stones disappear when the beam attack begins; due to slight jumping physics it is pretty much impossible to dodge the laser attack when the boss decides to put the beam safe zone where the indestructible and damaging stone(s) is/are.

The boss is killing me badly. It's really hard to dodge anything with those stones in place. Am I missing anything?
Yeah, I don't know about these stones, I assume there was a way to break it but I didn't try the charge lance on them and nothing I had at the time seem to do it. I doubt you have something at this point that can do it.

I just use 1 or 2 heal for that boss, just close in on it and whip like crazy when it's spewing stuff and when it does the dig dug play, just follow it around to whip when it gets out or blast it with the machine gun.

That was honestly the only boss so far that was remotely hard/road blocky and needed me to actively heal xD
I spammed an upgraded headless duchess +3 then played close as possible to wail on them. Those rocks were definitely BS at times.

I tried the charged lance on one of my tries BTW, it did not do anything.

You lance the stones before she enchants them. When you do that only about one enchanted stone should remain. If the beam attack lines up with one of the stones I am pretty sure you can time your jump over the stone so you double jump then dash to avoid landing on the stone. The more jumps you have access to the easier it is.
What I resorted to: Casual Mode.

I'm gonna mark this as the response because it's useful and the only way I can see of completely eliminating the issue, as jumping without doing this gives you a bit of momentum and makes the jump pretty much impossible.
I still believe the boss is not properly set up for its abilities considering how much easier by comparison all of the other bosses are, on maximum difficulty.
