Short li'l demo review/feedback
Much has been said already, so I'll (try to) make it short...

Positives
  • X/O swappable Confirm/Cancel.
  • As usual from the first Gal Guardians, weakened (low HP) and states/idle/status ailment/damage/KO voices & animation.
  • Perfect, non-aliased pixels like Yohane The Parhelion and unlike Dragon Marked for Death (at the cost of zoom in/out though).
  • Thank you for the local co-op being already a thing implemented. Here's hoping the online, separate-copy-required one does well for far-away online moots. (I hope it's not something like BBEE...)

Negatives
  • As a game that also releases for PS4/5, the game supports DS4 but does not recognize it to display PS glyphs/symbols... Really? For a group that's had years of experience/tenurity in this field & kind of game by now, there should be inheritance in the number of settings provided; but it seems we tend to regress/back to start instead.
  • No BGM attenuation when someone is speaking.
  • Mid-air movement is "slippery" and unprecise.
  • I'm alright with dash being rather short, but its speed not applying for the whole jump feels strange... (Workaround atm: Masha's dash attack in a particular timing extends the dash length)
  • Add option to maintain preferred sorting, with "new" filter, or initially having new things listed first/last.

Neutral
  • I like the amount of actions given for both Kirika and Masha, though some tech are not made obvious like Kirika's reload (double-tap down?) and Masha's backstep + backstep attack. You maybe don't have to teach like the tutorial did it, but perhaps just a hint on the environment or a particular use-case.
  • I can't tell if I'm alright with the err...mapping of the forest, most especially the castle itself. It feels so large yet unoccupied, it's kinda cumbersome to travel around with. Simply put, it feels not "compact/dense".
  • Certainly we'd have some use for the plethora of sub-weapons we get considering there's sub-weapon inventory space and even space expansion of it, right..?
  • Add option to turn off damage numbers.

Stuff others have mentioned
  • Needs standard volume slider (Master, BGM, SE, Voice).
  • Add option to lessen or completely turn off in-game voices. (not a problem I have, but it's good to have options)
  • Add VSync option
  • Interface improvement (i.e. make another's HP still visible after chara switch; green subweapon gauge maybe not working atm? (edit) Oh I'm an idiot, I didn't notice the numbers on the bottom-left)
