How to fix elevator

Are you talking about the one built into the small hill?
You need to repair the system, which is a panel on the left wall when facing the elevator.
Takes a lot of hardware to repair it.

Same issu here... I found 2 elevators, but cant understand how to fix them to go to the cave

Ok find it, to the 3th there is inded a control panel : 5K hardware to fix it .

Thank you!! I found 3 elevators and spent hours looking for a place to fix them. Didn't notice the panel.

I'm not seeing it? I found one under an arch of rock and there's no panels :( all it tells me is that it needs to be fixed

You need to find the one which is inside like a cave under a hill, the cave walls are illuminated with coloured lights. The panel is there on the left side near entrance.
You will need 5000 hardware.
