How i released 98 Apps with AGK
This is my contribution to the AGK Team (TGC).
I follow them since the release of Dark Basic Pro. I want to give this tribute to them (now i consider them friends), after AGK changed my life.
Ahahah it seems the "Ab-Flex" advertise :D, but believe me, it's true.

I am a programmer since i was 10, but i hadn't too much lucky in the past... cause first of all cracked software, no online store where to sell, and slow internet against "box package" games and utilities.

Now i'm 37 and after 4 years with AGK i returned to be the coder i was made for!!
Well, we must thanks also Apple that developed iPhone, iPad and Mac Store (Android too uff... :D), where you can sell you app, but the graphic engine is what you need to make games.

I started with 1 or 2 apps / month and maybe i was lucky on the first release, but i immediately understood that AGK had the power to transform code in money :D
Anyway, i don't code very beautiful games, as i work alone, but i don't code bad games...
This is why i don't move from 2D, and on 2D AGK rules!!!

Now, after 4 years i release about 4 apps / month, this is my primary and only job, i wake up when i want, i go to sleep when i want, nobody can fire me, i earned very much to move to another location and house, and now i'm planning to develop a big app that need more time to be completed. This is possible because i have a lot of apps that continue to earn while i complete my next project.

This is the secret of my success on apps, and this is possible thanks to AGK.
I code in Tier 2 with C++ mixed with OBJ C and AGK, and i can't turn back to the other engine. AGK make it easy because it have 1 only LIB file, this for me is very important.

If you are an old style coder like me, where you like to do all programmatically, AGK is the choice.

Sorry if i only develop for Apple, but this is only a business choice. Many of you will code for hobby, me not. I code for money :D

AGK is the only one that give the power of real coding with a really low cost.
The investment was right.

Oh just to mention other engine, i tried (bought) :
Unity, GameStudio, Cocoa2D, Corona, Marmelade, Monkey X
and some others, but i'm always here.

Do you have a website with helpful hints and code snippets?
If not maybe if you have time give it some consideration.
Just saying cuz that would be a great place to start.

Usually i post help and guide on AGK Forum. I have a site too. If you look also here, in the GUIDE section, i posted my last customized template with the download link and the video.

Floyd, there's a lot of help out there...

There's the monthly TGC newsletter which usually has a tutorial or news of other people's tutorials in it - http://www.thegamecreators.com/?gf=newsletter

The TGC forums are full of helpful coders, you'll find solutions to many problems, and some posts are made simply to share something great - http://forum.thegamecreators.com/?m=forum_read&i=41

When you get AGK, there's a lot of demo code, plus 10 new demos with source that were winners in a recent competition. By the way, AGK has been used by a dozen or so coders who have won over $34,000 of prizes between them. That includes me, I've won a Playbook, $1000 cash and a Lenovo All-In-One with my AGK apps.

Remember that i only develop for iOS/MAC at the moment, my team is starting to release for Android in some week. So if you need help for Apple devices don't hesitate to ask me. ;)
