LEGO® Star Wars™ III: The Clone Wars™

Activating this game on steam.
I got a physical disk of LEGO® Star Wars® III: The Clone Wars™ for christmas, but I can't seem to find the product code required to activate it on steam. I was able to instal the game on my computer without a product/cd key and I can't find one in the physical manual that I got with it. Is the product key in the installation files? How do I find the product/cd key?

It's a Games for Windows title, so there is no steam key in your physical copy ;) If you want a Steam key for the game you will need to buy the game ON Steam.

You are mistaken, Sir skywalker131993. If a physical copy of a game comes with a CD key, you can indeed use it to activate it on Steam. You're out of luck with those that don't have one though.

No you can't, Mr. WarpZr0 :/ You get a product activation key, not a Steam key. Unless it says on the box that it works with Steam ;)

It depends on the game; some games let you use the CD key to activate on Steam, others don't. This isn't one of them; for the full list of games that can be activated on Steam, see here: https://support.steampowered.com/kb_article.php?ref=7480-wusf-3601

Ah, dammit. I posted my own discussion about this. Well, thanks for the help. At least I still have my physical copy.
Now that I think about it, I lost my physical copy of the first game, but the closest they have on Steam is Complete Saga. Which would be fine, but the sound and graphics seem to have taken a big hit with that release.
