I cant fly with R2D2

Hey guys i need help. When I want to fly with for example R2D2 I just quickly jump and even if I hold my jump button it doesnt work. Does someone know how to fix this :)

Can't help with the issue but have to report that I have the same problem. It appears to be consistent across all my controllers, so yea. idk what else to try right now, really.

Just looked a bit further and a user with the same issue said to go to options>video settings and turn on vertical sync. I'll test it in a sec.

Well i had the same problem, until i tried floating after falling off the bridge then it magically worked.

Vsync doesnt work for me its really annoying, only thing that gets it to work is if i hit a ramp of some kind as i press jump but im losing vast studs to this method and I fear i may hit a point where i cant continue

I had the same issue and just had to quit a whole level...

yeah if you lock the framerate it should solve the problem. Vsync with a refresh rate of 120 or less should work. You can also hover if you press the button immediately after going off the edge of a ledge but it's hard to do consistently.
