i have no idea how to fix this please help

so uh I changed the thing idk what it is called to 1600x900 or smth when I try to play the game my screen is just black if I boot up the game i can still interact with it I've closed it multiple times just by spamming down arrow and then pressing up and it closed the game but i have no idea how to revert the settings to the original when i cant see what im doing at all oh yeah and when i delete and uninstal and then re instal nothing changes

The settings are stored locally and the files are not affected by a reinstall.
Filepath:
C:\Users\#username#\Appdata\Roaming\LucasArts\LEGOStarWarsIII\pcconfig.txt

If you delete this file the game will refresh it next time you play back to the defaults.

Or..
you can open the .txt file and edit the notepad settings, changing the resolution and screen size to suit your monitor and I would recommend changing your 'screen refresh rate' here to 60fps while you're here too.

If you're still getting a black screen..
Changing your Windows Sound settings has helped with start-up problems.
Start Menu/System/Sound/device properties/additional device properties/Advanced, then use the drop-down menu to change to 16Bit44100Hz or as close as possible.
