How do you win a ground assault?

Even though I knew exactly what I needed to do and did so I still had about three bases that still needed capturing by the time it ended, it's literally harder than anything I've ever experienced in a lego game and I need to figure out how to beat them. Any ideas?

You are probably trying it the hard way without using cheats (red bricks). If you turn on Super Speeder and use Invincibility, it will be easier for you, because you don't have to use some slower vehicles like AT-TE or AT-AP. Also, keep in mind that you need to destroy the shield generator once you lowered the shield. The opposing side will turn it on again. Also pick the easy targets first. The map should show you where they are.

even without cheat I didn't find that so difficult, the tank where the most difficult to shoot at the beginnig with only trooper but when you take the basic canon...after it's just a question of money and troop to send. The strategie is simple here: search and destroy x)

The only thing I find stupid is the regen on the command posts, I've havent been able to blow them up. I get to 80% as the lowest percentage of health but thethen it always regens back up, its a pain in the arse.

you need to have a tank with a good firing rate or command troops to shoot it down, they'll shoot until it's done even if the unit is destroy the next from the same casern will come for the same target

I've found the pirate speed lander thing to be good. The one that can destroy silver, not the speeder bike. Also getting the multiplers to quickly rush some cash and grabbing the super speeders power brick, located in the minikit room, is a good way. Using troops is an effective way to remove obstacles, so long as you are given a unit who can control and command squads, youll also need to walk through a sheild in order to highlight the buildings within and getting into a veihcle cancels the link with the squad. Also the AT-AT and the ATT work well too. Good mission to rush for cash is "Crash of the Jedi", cus with all multipliers i mannaged to get 300 BILLION in a single mission :)

the most easy way to blow the golden weapon or any other it's to build the missile platform (it's give something in pink), take a speed lander and go take one of this missile (such as you make for any other mission they requier this missile) and after go neer the ennemies area and shot the big electric bubble in the center of the place, the target will be marked by arrow, and each time you touch it with a missile, one of the thing on this field will automatically blow up by over charge in electricity...

yes it's the proton generator but he doesn't talk about normal casern of walkers or troops no, but about the HQ that you mus destroy in some mission, which has no electric bubble, it's on his own, under shield protection and other stuff and can regen itself constantly

Sometimes the mission allows you to blow up the HQ using proton torpedos, but usually it doesn't. My problem was I was using the Super tank/Att-tt...tt..t... the big one which is invincible (has purple hearts) and the damage output is a lot lower.

yeah you should take the normal tank, and if you have the invincible red brique ( for 1 million in the CSI cruiser) well, there's no problem with the troops who destroy your tank^^
