How to 100% it?

I like to 100% complete LEGO Games but i can't really find how to do it anywhere on the internet.
Of course you need all minikits and true jedi in every level, of course you need all red bricks.
I know you need to unlock all characters but i think it's also very unclear how to do that. Do i just have to find every single character roaming around in the hub? and then buy them? Or is there a better way to do it?
I know you need every vehicle but i already found out how to buy those myself (which is also very slow btw)

Is there anything else i need to do to get 100%?

I think you need to conquer the galaxy with both sides, too.

Hello Niek, don't worry it is indeed very unclear, though I managed to know everything to get that 100% completion, I haven't finished it yet but I can tell you everything that you need. First off, yes, you do need to get true jedi on all levels, history mode, castle of doom and hostages or something like that I don't realy remember the name exactly, but it's the one of the bounty hunters. You do need all minikits for all levels, complete all 16 bounty hunter missions, collect all characters and vehicles, including savage opress which is code only, get all space missions gold brick for all 16 planets, and also conquer the galaxy fully on separatist and then fully on the republic, finally if you correctly managed to gather 130 golden bricks you should be able to build the special 130 gold bricks ship. After that you should get that 100% completion. I would appreciate if you reply to this message so I can see if you already complete the game. Good Luck!

IMO it's not worth the time and effort to conquer the galaxy twice. I did unlock everything else, but then I tried playing a few battles to unlock the last two characters, decided it was too tedious, and just quit and left it at around 99.7% completion.

Thanks for the help. I managed to figure it out myself and i did it a few months ago and i can confirm that you don't need savage opress for 100% because i didn't have him and still managed to get 100%
