Is this game THAT bad?

I remember playing Force Unleashed 1 on my PS2 around 5 years back. It was pretty good I felt. Now, since I am somewhat a fan of the Star Wars universe, I have been thinking of getting the sequel. But the review scores seem very low. Please advice.

I would not say it is bad, there are much worst game out there. But the game is short, not very hard to beat. I finished it in a night. a lot of the combat is reused and you will find button mashing works for all the bosses. The game feels more like a Add on or DLC then a full price game, and lookd likr it was rushed. If you can get in as a bundle, or in a steam sale ( like the 75% off summer sale) it is now a bad game to play. The story is so so. it does end on a cliff hander so I do hope there is a FU3 to see how it ends. The game is about a C+ I think the only thing that realy saves it; is there is still some charm in throwing lighting both at strom troopers, fling them off buildings, and mowing down a whole group of them with your light saber. if you have the Jedi Knight 3 or academy, this game is ok to fill that hack and slash ich.

I liked it alot and it's worth the 20 bucks to me but it's your choice but i'm just here to say what you may want to hear/

It dont suck at all..... Just really short & not havin much of a hard time on Hard. Once u get the hang of the game it seems rather easy.
I still like it & recomend it! Especially if ur a collector like myself.

I found the game to be great. It just depends on what you want. But if you liked the first, the second one is definetly worth it.

Also depends on if you're playing it with a controller or not.

I played the first one on the xbox, and man it was fun. Couldn't tell you why I bought this one on PC, but I did. And I don't have a controller, just mouse and keyboard. Alas, the game was ported (as in, imported directly from the console version), and the controls are set up accordingly (and rather unplayably too, if you ask me).

So in summary, I couldn't tell you if it's a good game or not, because I can't play it.

As many here stated, the real weakness of this game is it's length. Gameplay's alright, and the writing had the potential to be quite good, but the actual game time (if I remember correctly) is about 6 hours or so, which doesn't really allow the story to ever actually develop into anything substantial. Honestly, for a AAA title like this, 6 hours is pretty damned shameful. Wait till there's another steam sale and get it cheap.

buy this game! this is a really good game! bad reviews might mean they didn't pay the right amount of money to get a good review. this is in-depth starwars story. the play control is great with a keyboard and a mouse. the grapich are amazing. the voice actors and actresses do a wonderful job. TWO count them TWO LIGHTSABERS in this game. may the force be with you. the power of the darkside is strong in thhis game.

The first game was released on PS2 and seventh generation. The second wasn't.

$6 is a fair price, (rental game price for rental game length) I would not pay more then that.
