im really pissed off i didnt notice the windows logo and no apple logo but please!!!! do something about this steam, not available on my current platform, i was looking 4ward to this game so much i paid $25 nz and i get nothing fix these things steam, please.

You can try PlayOnMac, I'm in the process of installing it now on a Mid2010 MacBook Pro, but steam should make more games cross play!

When using Mac or Linux, you absolutely NEED to pay attention to what platforms games are offered on.

As the previous post said, it's kind of your own fault for not checking platform compatability. If you don't want to do that, get a PC and not have to worry.

Steam can't do a thing, it's a problem. Valve can't do a thing either, they didn't make this game. Even if it was technically possible to decompile the game, adjust it to MacOS and recompile it, Lucas Arts would most likely sue the hell out of Valve for doing so. Ask Lucas Arts.

Agreed.

Also, you could try using a Windows emulator like Wine, idk if it will work though I've never used it before cause I do all my gaming on a PC. In the future make sure the game is compatible with your Mac. Also if you plan on gaming a lot you should buy a PC.

Old thread, I know. If you have a mac with a video card (none of this intel bs) you can install windows 7 (or 8 if you must) using bootcamp and have an excellent experience.. Non-destructive partioning too. My old imac from 2009 plays like a champ. Be sure to buy full version of windows, not upgrade version.
