Question for ehe peeps who played endor dlc before

Is the dlc required to beat the main game first ?

Or is it completely separate?

I have this game on xboc and pc. But I won't be near my xboc for a long time

Can I beat the story on pc then play the dlc on xboc later? (It it works on my pc)

Or should I wait to play the whole thing on my xboc?
