Constant Crashing...
Hrm. So, for some reason I can't even play this game. I'm crashing before the intro credits finish rolling. I'm running with an i7 and gtx770.....

HRMPH!

*EDIT*
I was able to solve my problem by setting the game to run in Windows 7 Compatibility Mode. If that doesn't work for you, take a look at the link provided below by johnLongview:

If I'm having crashes / other random issues, this is the first place I look (especially for console ports like this).

Excellent suggestion! I fixed it by running the game in compatibility - windows 7 mode.

Same with myself, bought the game last night and it was working fine straight after install. Now today, won't load my save game crashes straight after the loading screen is done. Tried starting a new game, crashes just after the FMV finishes.

Done a re-validate & also a re-install, still not working!

If you're on windows 8/8.1 try running the game in Windows Compatibility Mode for Windows 7. That fixed my problem.

I'm getting crashes in the splash video when I have Win7 resolution set to 2560x1440. I bumped it down to 1080 and it works fine.

I fixed this on my friends computer quite easily. It is a resolution issue. Simply (on win 7 at least) manually edit the config file in notepad to the resolution of your native display. In his case it was 1600x900, the default config file had some crazy odd number set for resolution. I found it in this location: C:\Users\your_comp_user_name_here\AppData\Local\LucasArts\Star Wars The Force Unleashed 2 In that folder is a config file you open with notepad, manually assign the "win height" and win "width" to the proper resolution numbers. Remember, height on a widescreen would be the smaller number of the two. In order to find the app data folder, you have to have show hidden folders enabled under file and folder options when you click the organize button in file explorer. Enjoy the game.
same here is there any way to run the game smothly with vertical-sync?
