wont run on windows 10

this game should really be made compatible for windows 10. In my case i have no way of going back, im stuck with this windows forever and i cant play this game cus of it.

i got win10 pro and it runs perfectly on it. sadly the game is capped at 30fps and that sucks ....

Windows 10: (FIX Freezing at start up screen!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!). I got the game also due to the sale and I could not get past the lucasarts logo because it froze.... but I managed to fix it by changing the compatibility of the game. I changed it to windows XP pack 3. So I think the issue is, if you have windows 10 it wont work. So yeah just change the compatibility of the game. Dont know how to do that? here:

1) Goto your steam libary and right click on the game and click on 'properties'.

2) Then click on the 'local files' tab and click 'browse local files'

3) After doing that the files should pop up infront of you. Then find SWTFU2.exe or SWTFU2 and then right click on that and select 'troubleshoot compatibility'

4) Then select 'troubleshoot program' and tick the first option (The program worked in earlier versions or Windows but won't install or run now)

5) After doing that I am sure it does not matter what windows you choose, the game will then work because you are choosing something other than windows 10. But to be safe I just chose Windows XP (service pack 3)

6) Then after that you can either click test or just exit at the top right. (Dont click cancel -.-)

I tried this and it didn't help. My main problem is the game wont even load. it starts up makes what sounds like a lightsaber noise then a grunt then it crashes. I am going to refund it for now but if anyone has a solution then I would love to buy it and test it out.

For Windows 10:
1. Try uninstalling the game and everything associated with the game.
2. Reboot.
3. Reinstall.
4. Run game once.
5. Do not click or type anything while waiting on first launch.
6. Give it 30-60 minutes. Load time lengthy but could still work.

Worked for me.. Loads in a reasonable amount of time on second launch..
Just don't type and click on anything else as well as out of frustration while waiting..

Video Cinematics crash but ingame unlocks cinematic playback so whatever.
Saving might look broke at times, don't panic, wait for a few minutes then manual exit with
Alt+F4

Other Option:
1. Reformat.
2. Reinstall.
3. Run game once.
4. Do not click or type anything while waiting on first launch.
5. Give it 30-60 minutes. Load time lengthy but could still work.
