FIX: Game crashing before, during, or after a cutscene
First off, this game crashes frequently. However, you can usually just start it up again, and it probably won't crash in the same place again, allowing you to progress through the game.

The game breaking problem I encountered was the cutscene where PROXY and Kota are discussing whether they should abandon ship during their attack on Kamino. The game kept on crashing, and no amount of restarts, fiddling with Vsync, or even reinstalling seemed to help at all.

The fix that worked for me:
Press win+r, run appdata.
This address: AppData\Local\LucasArts\Star Wars The Force Unleashed 2
Open Config file in notepad
Find this line: <s id="PlayMovies">Yes</s>
Change it to: <s id="PlayMovies">No</s>

This will disable the "cinematic" cutscenes, and instead play the cutscenes with the game engine. It does look significantly worse, but you can at least play the game, and you don't miss out on the story.
After doing this the game hasn't crashed for me, yet.
I tried enabling PlayMovies after getting past the first cutscene where the game kept crashing, hoping it was a problem with that specific cutscene. But, it just started to crash again, so I would recommend leaving it off. You're welcome to try, but it didn't work for me, just letting you know.

Hope this helps for the few people that play this game, and may encounter this problem.

Oh, that's weird. They played for me after I disabled movies. You could try to re-enable them, but for me that just caused the game to crash endlessly again.

Not sure who is still playing this game but there's away to get the cut-scene to work K-Lite Codec Pack Full. Once its download the cut-scene worked pass the first level , hope this helps. Also wanted to add that on my home computer running lintel and NVIDIA hardware it didn't need the k-pack . but on my steam deck running windows 11 it did
