Laggy cutscene fix

i recently decided to play through these games and discovered the pc port for the sequel has cutscenes that skip endlessly, but i found a fix through trial and error. go into Nvidia control panel and turn triple buffer on and set the vsync to "fast" that fixed the issue for me entirely but couldnt find that fix anywhere, so i figured id put it out here.

Thanks for the fix! This actually finally fixed the choppy custscenes, but now the game crashes during the STAR WARS logo fade out, at the same time, every time. Any ideas?

Has anyone found a fix for the crash right after the star wars logo? The fast vsync actually fixed the lag but the game will crash right after the star wars logo in the intro... I've been trying for weeks to fix this....

Cloud_Nomad, I know this is a year+ after you posted this, but I wanted to say thanks for posting this fix. Got my GOG copy of the game working flawlessly.

Oh my gosh, you're a lifesaver. This is the only fix that actually works (stops the crashes and plays cutscenes) and for some reason, it's nowhere near the top of the search engine. I may make another post copying this to try and have it get picked up.

You succeeded, only problem is that I'm playing this on Deck. I don't HAVE Nvidia Control Panel.

Soz, can't help you there as I don't have one, but if you can maybe try looking into any of the graphics options on the deck itself? Wishing you all the best, it sucks that this bug hasn't/probably wont get fixed.
