Slow down mouse movement?

Turn off Head-bob?

I used to get that a bit on Unreal and superfast Serious Sam sometimes.... till I slowed mouse down a bit... etc.

Increasing the FOV often helps with motion sickness, but I do not know if this game will have a FOV slider as a graphical option.

The dev that posts here said an FOV slider will be in the game.

Could you also be referring to the blur effect that the last game had for sprinting? If so you could disable it and it doesnt look like it'll be in this game jugding from what has been seen in recent gameplay footage

Blurr
No FOV
Head Bob
Bloom
Washed out colors
chromatic aberration effect

These are the real enemies in First person shooters for people with motion sickness

i wonder if Head Bobbing will go unnoticed by the devs again like in the first game that had no option to disable the camera bobbing. i find these "features" annoying.

right now i'm holding off on buying the game.. because it may end up like the last game:

Boy, that thread is full of some of the worst people on the planet.

I need to stop browsing Steam forums.

I forgot motion sickness was even a thing outside of VR. LOL

VR makes motion sickness people feel like we are in hell.

it's pretty common problem in PC games with a narrow FOV and camera shake.. the problem is these features are Ok on a console because most people that play on a console typically sit much father from the monitor or TV.. sitting 2 feet from a monitor on a PC and having head bobbing/camera shake is pretty nausea inducing.

It is a matter of perspective. I don't even get motion sick from artificial motion in VR. It must be some insane stuff for me to feel anything even momentarily so far. Only Vector 36 did something iffy for me so far.

Most bad First person shooters send me to the toilet to technicolor yawn.

Pretty much. I suffer from motion sickness. FOV has to be just right and a slider is something I really want to see in any FPS game. Head Bob varies from game to game but I always disable it when I can as I know this has a huge impact on me and my motion sickness. Bloom feels like a hit or miss effect. Sometimes it's awesome but most of the time it's just messy, overall I prefer to disable it.

Bloom should not be much problem? Motion Blur and Depth of Field are (both in "blurr" category). Bloom just extends those.

FOV is least problem really. If it happens you just have wrong monitor setup and you actually can do something about it without slider. Light behind monitor helps a lot as well.

That mist at close range combined with bloomed neons looks like greatest danger in SW2. As neither of those can be disabled. Looks like engine and art-style thing rather then settings.
