Devs...how could you? First game had nice dialogues, they had sense....but here we just hear for all the time characters insulting each other on some new ways all the time. Almost nothing with meaning in their conversation. It stopped being funny after a short while, now it's just tiresome mess.

All of it only made me miss Hoji even more.

I really like improvement when it comes to gameplay but someone did done goofed with dialogues BIG TIME.

The first game did not have nice dialogues, lmao. Both games are horribly cringey. As to the question of, "how could they," well, probably because they saw people liked Borderlands and such things.

Hoji was awful by the way, although his background wasn't as crappy as anything in this.

Dialog is cringey? Lo Wang is a pretty straight forward man. Honestly, anything he says sounds way more realistic than anything you see in movies nowadays.

Honestly, I don't mind Lo Wang. There's a certain edge to him I like.....Kamiko though ugggh. For the sake of completion I'll tolerate her but I'll never listen to that **** again.

Oh OK you're right, Geourge Broussard definitely didn't say that Lo Wang was a parody of 60s-80s kung fu movies and was whoever you thought he was, namely a guy who calls everyone grasshopper, has an overblown Japanese accent and talks about World War 2. Good argument though.

He was a parody of old school action movies mixed with super powered old school FPS characters like Duke and Doomguy. What Broussard says means nothing, he may have taken parts from characters like Miyagi but the 2 couldn't be anymore different

Play the original and tell me thats Mr Miyagi, its still the best in the series by a long shot. Lo Wang would twist Mr Miyagi into a pretzel and dunk him like a basketball, Wang was more of an irreverent badass assassin and martial arts master. He wasn't no short wiseman, morally inclined, elderly master with a pupil.

Hes a loner, a badass with almost superhuman abilities. This new Wang is nothing compared to the real Lo Wang, he sounds like your average chinese restaurant waiter who jerks off to anime.

The real Lo Wang was buffer, manlier, and better looking too. His character design and personality was awesome, you feared and respected him while finding him hilarious.

This new Lo Wang is a ♥♥♥♥ character, who looks stupid and wears sunglasses all the time and looks like your typical yakuza or triad guy. The real Lo Wang was beyond mere mortals and it was believable because he was a buff old man with decades of training and experience as an assassin.

These new games are great but its not Shadow Warrior, and that is not Lo Wang. The real shadow warrior game had better world building, character design and art direction than most comic books and films. And FWH basically trash binned it all for no apparent reason whatsoever, it shows they don't really respect the original IP but just wanted to use the name.

It is the only argument - Mr. Myagi and both remake and original Lo Wang have..like, nothing in common? I think Wang is even supposed to be chinese...

Man you guys got hardcore triggered, lmao at rewatching Karate Kid. Duke Nukem is clearly a parody of Arnold Schwarzenegger/Sylvester Stallone/Dolph characters and you don't hear any of those guys making "♥♥♥♥ jokes and lewd comments." That's because Duke Nukem is a PARODY, as Lo Wang is a PARODY. Al Gore was on South Park talking about Manbearpig, because it's a silly caricature of himself... do you understand now? Who gives a ♥♥♥♥ about Lo Wang, people are acting like he's the man in the iron mask or something when he's just a crude ♥♥♥♥♥♥ character that was pooped out to populate a Duke Nukem 3.5 game.
