Cant figure out how to duel weild

Later on in the game you get a reward from a mission that lets you duel weild smgs, cant figure out how to do so though, has anyone else been able to and figured out how?

Put the rune in the weapon and there you go: Dual wield.

Says its an amulet rune so you cant put it in a weapon slot.

There's one for assault rifles, yes. Not sure if one exists for SMGs as well.
But you can always put a weapon gem into a SMG to dual wield it. Might be a bit rare, but I found one, so they do exist.

Yeah my mistake it was for the assult rifle but even then, the amulet seems to have no effect on the dual weilding, strange

u need to wear the amulet AND then put the mod in the weapon.(u get the mod when u wear the amulet)

That's news to me. The amulet just makes your assault rifles dual-wield. Everything else, just use the weapon mod. No need to make use of BOTH. I used dual SMGs way before I found the amulet (and I didn't like it, but that's beside the point).
