PC or Console?
I don't care what people say about PC being the "glorious master race". I just want to know in which platform are games like Shadow Warrior 2 and Doom would be good to play in in terms of controls or gameplay. Would these fun, slaughter, first-person shooter games be good to play with a controller or with the keyboard and mouse? As I am planning to buy them very soon together with Witcher 3.

with this said, the answer is almost completely PC, unless you have more friends on console and want to play the multiplayers of these games with them.

I enjoyed Witcher 3 with a controller on my PC but Shadow Warrior 2 I would highly recommend using mouse and key for the frantic action and movement abilities.

Games always control better at higher frame rates, so consoles which are generally locked to 30 FPS can never offer the best in that regards.

1. PC always, console is simply a lesser experience every time.
2. This game isnt even on console until next year.

Pc Master race is a bunch of people that care about good gameplay. If you are going to game do it on a pc. Easier aim, cheaper game, higher fps, better cost to graphic/fps ratio than consoles. Build your own pc and you will be fine. It takes 15-20 of research to learn how to build and then a few hours to build.

Pc is better since you have better graphics if your pc can handle it for the other thing who play fps games with controller this is just way to uncomfortable plus its more fun since you have to aim yourself because consoles often have aim help wich you cant turn off in some games
also fast paced games always with controller unless its not fps for me at least
Hope it helped its just what i think btw i had a console myself and its only good for exclusives in my eyes

what if i have no friends?
I had no friends when i got my own build pc after time i had many and also removed many since i like to chat with people but its not a big problem btw you dont have to be scared to met new people. You dont have to join your friends if they play on console nor get a new pc, i decided to get my own adventure since almost everyone I know real just played what everyone else played because hype. But thats just my pc story and dont think everyone in the pcmr is calling other people a peasant or something it is a community to discuss about stuff and enjoy and helping if you have problems. Like threads on steam :).

I'd say PC. With the keyboard and mouse, I find it's much easier to perform all the dodges and quick-actions the game needs. This is comparing how I play to a guy I watch that uses a gamepad. Being able to jump and dash past enemies, snap 180 and fire is an example of something that you'd be able to do on PC, not with console (unless you've got really high sensitivity and really good control.)

i'd go with pc. shadow warrior and doom are two games that i can't imagine playing with a controller. mouse controls make too much of a difference in reaction speed that i would argue they're necessary for these titles.

You're expecting an indifferent opinion on a PC gaming forum? Lol.

You can play with a controller on the PC, I'm using one. These games are much better on the PC simply because of their increase framerare and visuals. Most Xbone/PS4 games are still 30fps and that doesn't seem to be changing with the PS Pro either.

Play Witcher 3 with controller, and Shadow Warrior with mouse and keyboard. Best of both worlds. And PC versions are much better with both.
