As you can see there is Shared/Split Screen. This is, as you call it, Local "Couch" Co-Op.

Local co-op means exactly what Shrapnel said.
It means that game dont have/use servers and you can create one to play with your friend in local network.
I have several games with LAN support on Steam. None of them have Local Co-op on their store pages.
And it dont need not have. Devs choose one or multiply tags, if devs mark it then you will see this on the store page, if not then...
