how's the single player element?

Playing by myself, its fun.
Like the first one (will see if I can finish this one though, since I couldnt finish the 1st one, because of all the different keys to press to do 1 action).

Played alone and it's a lot of fun. Don't feel like I'm missing out on anything by not playing with other people

To me the game feels mainly like a single player experience. If I didn't know I wouldn't suspect that the game also features multiplayer. 5 hours in and so far it was an incredibly polished single player experience with only a few minor gripes all things concidered.

Where do people get this idea from that this is supposed to be played with other people?, its a single player game that has an added co-op option.

Coop is just a nice little bonus. The so-lo wang experience is just as great as it was in the first game.

Co-op is the Straberry on top of the cake, you are not required to eat it, but its there if you want it.

Single player is Soooo Good. I don't like playing with others and The fact that there's no need for otheres to join your game in order to get to places that otherwise require other people is good, unlike Dead space 3.

Didnt tried coop yet, but so far in single (hardest difficulty) maps feels kinda empty. Duno if there are more enemies with more players.
