Crafting Doesn't Make Much Sense
For me, crafting has produced a few nice gems, but what I get is typically random. I'm aware of being able to control the outcome of the elemental gems to an extent by combining all gems of the same element, but all logic stops there. It's odd, that by combining say, 3 Turret gems doesn't give me a better Turret gem. Also, I seem to get much better results combining 3 yellow gems into an orange gem than 3 orange gems, which has given me a LOWER level orange gem a few times.

Anyone getting the same results? And if a person proficient in crafting is able to make a guide, I'm sure it would be appreciated by many.

That's exactly what I wrote in the suggestion thread. No idea if it was or will be seen though.

Crafting System

I'd suggest to rework the crafting system to be able to slightly influence the outcome of a crafting process depending on what kind of upgrades you use.
For example, when you use
  • Elemental Core of Fluke
  • Stinging Soul of Fluke
  • Elemental Soul of Fluke
you'll have a chance of like 40% to get a upgrade with the "of Fluke" mod and 20% with the "Elemental" mod.

So, meaning this:
  • 40% of getting mod X when 3 upgrades used to craft have mod X
  • 20% of getting mod X when 2 upgrades used to craft have mod X

40% and 20% is just an example but if you consider implementing something like this please do NOT make it 100% or anywhere close to it. That would make things way to easy in my opinion.

Regarding a guide, right now the only advice I can give you is that you should start crafting with lower rarities (e.g. ~lvl 80-90 blues) to save some money and a chance for ~130-140 oranges which are already higher than any drop

That's a great suggestion and leaves room for RNG if that's what FWH wants. The crafting with blues advice is also a good one...I keep going broke otherwise. XD

I would like to make the suggestion of being able to sort/filter your inventory by at least the main stat and preferably a secondary stat as well. I waste so time finding certain gems for weapons because I can't be arsed to clear my inventory after every run or I'm stockpiling them for crafting.
