By exploiting, or weeks of mindless grinding?
Non of them. I prefer to use whats on the hand, so i can uctualy give relevant advices.
Don't mind him, he's been going around to every one of my posts and just harrassing me for it.
Again your ego strikes?
More like your incessant busybody behaviour policing those that are better/more creative than you or simply share a different opinion.
Well, hes simply lying with responding to "every one of my post". I simply pointing out whenever he comes with ♥♥♥♥ thats based on exploited gems which is useless for 99,99% players. Hes not better if he has to use exploits to be able to play game, either cheating isnt rly "more creative".
I could simply use cheat engine to generate lvl 1000 gems and then come here and demand way higher difficulties, cuz game is to eazy. Its not about being better, creative nor about opinion.
His only excuse is "He's cheating so his opinion doesn't matter."
Calling the whole "get your gems on a lower difficulty then craft them on the highest available difficulty" thing exploiting is very highly debatable, as it's something the game lets you do and doesn't seem to put forth any notice or effort to claim that it's NOT intended.
More to the point, calling "working towards a build composed of gems with optimal or near-optimal stat spreads" exploitation is like calling... any Set or Legendary build ever in Diablo 3 (or similar) that works towads a specific goal or buffs specific Skills an exploit - which, frankly, would be rather silly.
I wound up slapping some high-ish-order Ammo Save chance (~24%) and clip-size ("Clip-Size Greatly" which translates to a magazine size of ~74) gems on the Feuerfaust, which helps maximize its damage scale (and scale, and scale, and keep on scaling) over time aspect. It takes a while to get up there, as I don't have much in the way of raw damage boosting mods on it, but it's fairly satisfying to use on large targets, and is very efficient indeed.
I also have been using the... Medallion? (the Gem type you can only equip one of at a time that significantly alters some aspect of your overall gameplay) that boosts Exotic weapon effects by 25% more and more often. It doesn't really help the Ryuken sword, as that functions with absolutes (ie, if you crit you will ALWAYS cast Chi Blast, if you get the Fury refill to proc it's ALWAYS 100%), but on stuff like the Jigoku and Feuerfaust, you're getting some extra mileage out of it (Jigoku gets a 1.2% fury refill instead of a flat 1%; Feuerfaust gets +13% damage per second of use instead of +10%). That's more for co-op than anything else, as the -60 seconds to cooldown for Second Chance is far, far too valuable to pass up in singleplayer.
