Builds needed!
I'm looking for builds for this game, and google doesn't return much. I'd like to mix it up with both Melee and gunplay, but if I have to sacrifice damage to do so, I'll just do full melee (preferably with crit). Any detailed build are welcome and thanks in advance.

I don't know to advice you but my build is 4 melee with different elemental and 4 guns with different elemental. Also, i've got 4 machine gun with 4 elementals too. But my build cost so much time and grinding..

Below Insane 3, just about any coherent build will work and play very well. You can put all your points into move speed, Sting, and Shadow Fury, relying on quick hits on your enemies. You can specialize in Heal, elemental resist, and Chi regen, and with damage resist upgrades you'll tank just about anything.

Some things that are common to all playstyles, though. I find that maxed-out movement speed (Like The Wind), healing flame, chi regen (Serene Mind), and elemental resist are worth the points cost. Having at least one weapon of each element is essential, as well as one normal-type but high-DPS weapon. High burst damage weapons are important if you are the kind who likes to dodge back and forth.

I rely on max Second Chance, Arm of the Reincarnation, and extremely high damage weapons. I get my kicks from diving straight into a mess of enemies and fighting the 8 second clock once I inevitably get knocked into Second Chance. But doing... 10k? damage on a critical 350% bonus + weak spot + Second Chance 500% damage hit is a beautiful beautiful thing to see.

The problem with mixing it up is that you end up having to split points between ammo upgrades and melee upgrades. What's worst is that Ninja Soul reduces ranged damage, and Marksman Soul doesn't increase melee damage. Don't worry about that too much, eventually you will get enough good gems that you won't need either amulet.

If you want pure DPS build a pure ranged deck with Marksman Soul and Elemental Conversion. 1000+DPS on Agent of Chaos is entirely possible.

Thanks for the input. I plan on tackling the hardest difficulty after one playthrough, so I wanted a build that could handle it. I don't mind going pure melee or ranged, but I'd prefer melee. Just wish there was a decent build site out there.

Not sure if you've seen it yet, but there's a lot of good info in this thread:

This is pure melee build suggestion based on insane t4 game

Weapon
1. physical weapon
2. elemental weapons (Ice&Fire / Electric&Toxic)

There are some enemies that have 3~4 elemental immune ( including phisical )
so you need at least these 3 weapons.

Arm of Orochi - nerfed significantly, but still one of the best melee weapon.
nothing can block it's NORMAL ATTCK. you know, special attacks
need charging time and concentration on enemy. This sword
doesn't even need special attacks. Swing, infinte force slash - PROFIT

Ryuken - this can be OP weapon. If you equip dominator, you can maximize the
efficiency of this sword. Also it is good for shadow fury build.

Ghidorah - best melee dps weapon. Just use Sting and Voltex.

Shredders - This one can draw better dps than Orochi if you have ammo.

Crimswords - Make good damage to superior and Elite enemies.

Blade of Exile - use this if you like special attacks.

You can use chainsaw if you like sawing, but it requires kinda inconvenient ammo
management and thrust control.

Armor Priority
1. life drain - the higher, the better
1. damage resistance - 70~80% recommended
-> both life drain and damage resistance is important.
3. HP - the higher, the better
4. crit chance or crit damage - the higher, the better

Amulet - ninja, rabbit, iron whatever fit to you

Power Upgrade - whatever you want. Almost everything can provide you survivability

Actually, second chance is for SP, not MP. It doesn't work on MP unless ur the host
Remember, Tanking is more important in the hardest difficulty.
you should get enough life drain and 70~80% damage resistance first of all, if you
don't want to be taken down by 1~2 hit.

Thanks! What should I put my points into?
