How good/long are the DLC?

I played through the game on console back when it came out because a friend lent it to me and liked it. With this discount right now, I was thinking about getting it here, playing more calmly and such. I just remembred that there are 3 free DLCs. How much do they add to the game?

I ask because I'd like to know what I'm paying for, the game I know/remember or something twice (I know they won't add that much) as big?

Quite a bit, and they are really well done in my opinion. 7 replayable (whenever you want) and randomized trials (some of them are really cool) + 27 "quest" missions (replayable each time you go "though" the main story @ whatever moment of story you want), imo really decent (they add a lot of flavour and some of them are on the rare versions of maps) + 4 weapons total + 7 new skills + unlocking weapon upgrading & gem crafting. So it offers quite a bit, yeah.

Plus if you own PAYDAY 2 you get 2 extra weapons.

While we are at it, how do the endgame, new game+ and such work? I can't remember. Are you allowed to roam after killing the last boss to do more secondary stuff and you can move onto NG+ any time you want? Does it allow you to load either the Ng or NG+ like other games do? As in, you lose access to everything if you go to NG+ until you unlock those missions again.

"Endgame" is just freeroam and eventually finishing the DLC quests which you didn't do earlier (mind that ONLY DLC quests can be finished then), it's good for farming the best gems, because loot (and enemy amount, AFAIR) scale to the game progression.

Yes, but only to missions (Your character, equipment and loadouts all carry on).
