To be fair the Razorback isn't a good weapon at all, way too slow, it consumed ammo (Yes there's plenty around but it's a melee weapon with ammo that doesn't shoot anything) and basically locks you in contact for a few seconds. You forget it even exists the moment you pick up the twin blades and realise that striking like 3-4 times a second is way, way better.
Even at the start, getting locked in melee with your target for a few seconds isn't worth it.
Well, i found it quite effective at the beginning, but switched it for the twin blades instead later on. I just found the slow melee attack to be satisfying
I love the feel of the Saw Blade, but the low fuel capacity and the high tech appearance were huge turnoffs for me. The razorback just looks like a much cooler alternative
So yea, they gave their fans 2 chances now to get the pre-order DLC, if people don't get it at this point, I doubt they will offer it again lol And not to put my favorite game company down, but as others have said, the RazorBack is not the greatest weapon. Its AMAZING if you just start fresh, it is very OP in the early stages of the game but once you progress you will find much better weapons and on NG+ its going to collect dust, trust me lol Its up to you. The coolest thing is the Wangopedias description of the weapon honestly. And All I say is "I love you guys too!" @Flying Wild Hog/Devolver Digital.
Huh, I wasn't aware the collector's edition contained the preorder DLCs. That's pretty neat.
Still, I don't think I'm gonna have that sort of money by then...
Ahh well, I'm sure some other new weapon will come along and take my breath away... maybe something unarmed, like brass knuckles.
Razorback gives you a "viable" chainsword, but that's not much to brag about. You basically trade the chainsaw alt fire for Force Slash, which has always been underwhelming. Sting is canceled whenever an enemy dodges away and using Vortex is a death sentence.
